FINALLY IN THE FINALS! CELTICS VS LAKES...ROUND 12

Well, here we go again. The Boston Celtics vs the Los Angeles (formerly the Minneapolis) Lakers for the NBA crown 2010. These two teams have met 11 times in the finals with the Celtics winning 9 of those times. Best believe Kobe Bryant knows the history and the lore. He also knows that back in 2008 Kevin Garnett and the Celtics beat (and beat up on) his Lakers for the Championship. Believe me Kobe is looking for payback. Let's hope some of these stats can assist Kobe and Phil Jackson (Lakers coach) in thier quest for yet another ring.
The Lakers hold records for having (into the 2009–10 season) the most wins (3,000), the highest winning percentage (61.8%), the most NBA Finals appearances (31). Fourteen Hall of Famers have played for the Lakers, while four Hall of Famers (John Kundla, Bill Sharman, Pat Riley and Phil Jackson) have coached the team. Four Lakers (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant) have won the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) award[7] for a total of 8 MVP awards.

Game 1 Thursday @ 8 on ABC.

I got the Lakers in 7...hehehe!
