MAN CLAIMS TO BE LEBRON'S DAD. SUING FOR $4MILLION

A 55 year-old man, Leicester Bryce Stovell claims to be NBA star LeBron James’ secret father and he is currently suing both his son and the mother, Gloria James, for millions, and accusing them of a major cover-up.

This man, who has a law degree from the University Of Chicago and was a Senior Legal Advisor for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, met Gloria in a DC area bar when he was 29 and she only 15 years old back in 1984. Leicester claims he did not know Gloria’s age and they had consensual and unprotected sex, creating one of the biggest NBA stars of our time.
After their sexual encounter, Gloria returned to her hometown of Ohio. When they met again in DC, Gloria told Leicester she was pregnant with a baby boy named LeBron, but did not reveal who was the father. Leicester remembers telling her, “Well, if he’s mine, make sure he plays basketball.” He didn’t saw Gloria for more than 20 years after that conversation.

74 killed as bombers target World Cup viewers

KAMPALA, Uganda — Simultaneous explosions tore through crowds watching the World Cup final at a rugby club and a restaurant in Uganda's capital, killing at least 74 people, including one American, officials said.
Police feared an al-Qaida-linked Somali militant group was behind the attacks.
The blasts went off as people watched the game between Spain and the Netherlands late Sunday.
"We were watching soccer here and then when there were three minutes to the end of the match an explosion came ... and it was so loud," witness Juma Seiko told Reuters.
Several Americans from a Pennsylvania church group were wounded in the restaurant attack, including Kris Sledge, 18, of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
"I remember blacking out, hearing people screaming and running," Sledge said from the hospital. His right leg was wrapped and he had burns on his face. "I love the place here but I'm wondering why this happened and who did this ... At this point we're just glad to be alive."
Joann Lockard, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Embassy in Kampala, confirmed one American was killed.

BAD NAIL POLISH CHOICE COULD COST LILO

Troubled Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan has been slapped with a 90-day jail sentence for violating probation in two 2007 drunken driving cases, but an obscene message written on Lohan?s fingernail during Tuesday?s court proceedings could see the actress charged with contempt of court.
The Mean Girls star was photographed inside the courtroom with the words ?Fuck U? written on her middle fingernail, although Lohan insists her expletive-ridden manicure had nothing to do with Judge Marsha Revel, who found her guilty of breaking probation from a 2007 DUI charge, New York City Public Defender Stacy Schneider said if the insult was judged to be aimed at the courts ?it would be a separate charge for contempt.?
?She could have an entire extra sentence heaped on top of her current one. If the judge were angry enough, it could run even consecutively,? Schneider explains. ?It?s up to her lawyer to catch things like that,? the attorney added. ?A bra strap that shows or a boxer line that shows is pretty bad, but this tops the cake.?
If Lohan is found guilty of contempt of contempt she could face a further three to five days in jail ?for vulgarity,? Los Angeles Public Defender Greg Apt chimed in.
The actress is likely to serve only 23 days behind bars because of prison overcrowding in California, but that hasn?t stopped the scandal-plagued actress from slamming her sentence.
We hear bitter Lindsay blasted Judge Marsha Revel as ?a ******ing ******? after being sentenced to the 90 day jail term. Hours after breaking down in sobs in court, Lohan reportedly complained to her friends that Revel hates her and remarked that all the judge wanted to do was make an example out of her.

THE KARDASHIAN SISTERS DOUBLE DATE

It's a double date! Kim Kardashian and new beau Miles Austin hit up New York nightspot Avenue with Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom. The foursome was with a large group of about 20 people, and they arrived just before 2 a.m., complete with a police escort. Kim wasn't drinking at all, though Khloe took some shots of tequila. Odom chatted with a friend all night, while Khloe and the rest of the group danced the night away.

SO WHAT'S UP NOW?!?!

Sorry, Chicago, New York and New Jersey. Maybe next time around, Clippers.
LeBron James chose superstar help over the comforts of home and is heading for Miami because he wants to win a championship with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
NBA, get ready: A superstar trio has just been born.
Ending weeks of will-he-or-won't-he speculation, the two-time MVP said Thursday night that he's decided to join the Heat and leave the Cavaliers after an unsuccessful seven-year quest for the ring he covets.
``I can't say it was always in my plans, because I never thought it was possible,'' James said on a made-for-Lebron live show on ESPN. ``But the things that the Miami Heat franchise have done, to free up cap space and be able to put themselves in a position this summer to have all three of us, it was hard to turn down. Those are two great players, two of the greatest players that we have in this game today.''
